About me
Hello! My name is Aref Malkawi. My full name is Aref Mohammad Aref Al-Ali, and my family called Malkawi. I was born on September 1st, 1999, in Amman, hence my name on Wikipedia "Malkawi99". I am active at Arabic Wikipedia, English Wikipedia and Commons. My academic journey led me to delve into English Language and its Literature at the University of Jordan, equipping me with proficiency in both Arabic and English. Besides literature, I am interested in translation, writing, research writing, and language studies. Literature, history and cinema hold a special place in my heart, reflected in the majority of my contributions to this encyclopedia, though I also delve into philosophy, music, sports, geography, and politics.
My work
Currently, I am immersed in the realm of machine learning and data at Amazon.com. Our Amman-based branch achieved a milestone by enabling Arabic language support for Alexa devices. Throughout my tenure, I have transitioned across various units within the company. Nowadays, I work for both the Arabic and English locales within the company.
